Qualifications

• Valid WV teacher certification/licensure required.
• Knowledge of the community, school and enrolled students preferred as described in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and organize SAT meetings with at risk students, parents, and school personnel.
• Review data, identify and recommend interventions for students with needs, and review referral files before submission for an evaluation.
• Support principals and teachers in delivering instructional and behavioral interventions using data to differentiate instruction.
• Assist SAT members, principals, and parents in understanding data used for student referrals.
• Schedule SAT meetings and notify members/parents of meetings.
• Maintain the official records of SAT meetings and outcomes.
• Assist teachers with preparation of SAT meetings and outcomes.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and administrators as needed.
• Facilitate team interaction at SAT meetings and summarize discussions and decisions.
• Maintain a SAT log for all meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by the school principal.
