Qualifications

• A valid WV Teacher Certification, Licensure, and/or Both.
• Knowledge of the community, school and enrolled students is critical in this position; preference given to current faculty.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and organize SAT meetings with at risk students, parents, and school personnel.
• Review data and recommend interventions for students with needs.
• Differentiate instruction using data and document interventions to assess growth.
• Assist SAT members, principals, and parents in understanding data for referrals.
• Schedule SAT meetings and notify members and parents.
• Maintain official SAT meeting records and outcomes.
• Coordinate with outside agencies as needed.
• Summarize discussions and decisions from SAT meetings.
• Maintain an SAT log for all meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
