Babson College’s BabsonARTS department is seeking a Student Photographer to support marketing and communications by capturing events, performances, and exhibitions on campus. You will deliver edited photos within 48 hours, building a portfolio across social media, websites, and print materials.

As a current Babson student, you’ll cover roughly 10–12 events per semester, arriving early to set up, and collaborating with the Marketing Consultant to align with coverage priorities.

Formación

• Current Babson College student in good standing.
• Previous experience with event, performance, portrait, journalistic, or arts photography.
• Proficiency with camera systems and basic photo editing software.
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, focus, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact respectfully with Babson community.
• Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by events.
• Interest in the arts and enthusiasm for BabsonARTS mission.
• Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing circumstances.

Responsabilidades

• Capture high-quality photographs of BabsonARTS events, performances, exhibitions, and programs.
• Work with BabsonARTS Marketing Consultant to understand priorities and coverage.
• Arrive 15–30 minutes before events to set up.
• Create promotional images for social media, websites, and print materials.
• Document performers, presenters, audience engagement, and venue details.
• Select, edit, and organize 25–40 photos per assignment for marketing and archives.
• Meet deadlines and deliver edited images within 48 hours of each event.
• Manage assignments independently with professional communication.
• Maintain and safeguard photography equipment.
• Submit work hours weekly and notify BabsonARTS of scheduling conflicts.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
