Job summary

Auburn University’s Office of Communications and Marketing seeks a Student Photographer to support daily photography for campus events and life. The ideal candidate uses manual camera settings and has basic knowledge of the Adobe Suite for editing.

You will produce professional campus photos, organize and caption images, and upload them to the university image library soon after events, while maintaining a tidy photo archive.

Qualifications

• Must be an enrolled student at Auburn University.
• Experience using digital DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
• Proficiency with Lightroom and Photoshop for photo editing.
• Portfolio or sample photography work must be provided.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Produce professional photographs for university events and campus life.
• Download, organize, and caption images with keywords.
• Upload images to the university image library within hours of an assignment.
• Maintain accurate, organized digital photo archives.
• Be available during business hours and for events in evenings/weekends.
