Job summary

Responsibilities

• Video Production: capture footage at sports events, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments; operate and maintain gear; edit for storytelling.
• Photography: take action-focused sports photos and retouch images for quality and composition.
• Content Creation: ideate and execute visual content aligned with Babson's vision; collaborate with marketing/editorial teams.
• Live Event Coverage: attend events, coordinate access, and deliver content promptly.
• Equipment Management: manage and upgrade equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Video Production: Capture high-quality video footage of sports events, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments. Operate and maintain professional-grade video equipment, including cameras, microphones, and lighting setups. Edit and post-process video content to ensure optimal quality and storytelling.
• Photography: Take captivating photographs that showcase the intensity, emotion, and action of sports events. Utilize a variety of camera equipment and techniques to achieve the desired visual impact. Edit and retouch images to enhance their quality and composition.
• Content Creation: Conceptualize, plan, and execute creative content ideas that align with the company's vision and goals. Develop engaging visual stories that resonate with the target audience. Collaborate with the marketing and editorial teams to ensure content meets brand standards and objectives.
• Live Event Coverage: Attend live sports events to capture real-time moments, ensuring timely delivery of content. Coordinate with event organizers, athletes, and other stakeholders to secure necessary access and permissions.
• Equipment Management: Maintain and organize video and photography equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Recommend and oversee any necessary equipment upgrades or purchases.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sports videography and photography, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of sports coverage.
• Proficiency with industry-standard video and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Rate: $20/hour
