This position supports BabsonARTS events and programs throughout the academic year at various locations across the Babson College campus. Assignments may take place during the day, in the evening, or on weekends, depending on the event schedule. Student photographers receive a semester-long event calendar and indicate their availability for individual assignments. Once an assignment is accepted, photographers are expected to honor their commitment, communicate professionally, and notify the BabsonARTS team promptly in the event of an emergency or scheduling conflict. Most events are scheduled well in advance, and every effort is made to accommodate students' academic commitments. Occasional evening and weekend availability is required. Most assignments involve approximately one hour of event photography and one hour of photo selection, editing, and file preparation. While event lengths may vary, a typical assignment is compensated at $50 per hour. This role requires the ability to travel independently to event locations on the Babson College campus and work in a variety of venues, including performance spaces, galleries, classrooms, lecture halls, and outdoor settings.
