Job summary

Yugo West Lafayette River Market is seeking a Student Ambassador to manage leasing and marketing for our on-site community. You will report to the General Manager and handle tours, applications, move-ins, renewals and lead management while delivering exceptional resident experiences.

Ideal candidates bring admin experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to multitask across leasing, marketing and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Relative experience in an administrative role.
• Excellent customer service and communication (oral and written).
• Proactive with strong problem-solving and initiative.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask.
• Intermediate MS Office and online system skills.
• Resilience, adaptability and cultural awareness.
• Able to communicate with General Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
• Availability to work 20–25 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects, conduct property tours, and showcase features.
• Process applications, deposits, and lease paperwork for move-ins/outs.
• Handle inquiries by phone and in person, maintain guest cards.
• Prepare applications, ensure move-in readiness, and orient residents.
• Assist with lease renewals, collect payments, support marketing.
• Support marketing and sales initiatives and meetings.
• Update reports, monitor market conditions, and provide insights.
• Manage service requests and plan resident events.
• Enforce policies including Fair Housing and maintain a positive team.
• Keep office and model apartments clean and accessible; communicate policy changes.
• Maintain flexible schedule; perform additional tasks as needed.
