Job summary

• Basic knowledge of Adobe applications and having taken the GRA 101 course are required.
• Login procedures and basic application processes and file management procedures are a must.
• You must be able to communicate and submit written reports of breakdowns, user account issues and any other lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Coordinator, Instructors, Lab Tech, and Students with requests for lab needs.
• Assist students working within the GRA labs.
• Monitor all students in the facility for safety compliance and understand all lab procedures to guard against breakdowns and theft.
• Identify occurrences of breakdowns and software/hardware needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements :

To apply for this position, you must be a current GRA HarperCollege student, enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester; 3 forsummer semester.

Experience Requirements:

Student Aide must have basic knowledge of Adobe applications andhave taken at least the GRA 101 course to be eligible. Loginprocedures and basic application processes and file managementprocedures a must. The student must be able to communicate andsubmit written occurrence of breakdown, user account issues and anyother lab procedural communications.

Special Requirements:

Length of employment is determined each semester bydepartment.

Evaluations may be done by the supervisor each semester or at aminimum of once a year.

Employment is contingent on a Criminal Background Check in certaindepartments.

Employment Sponsorship is not applicable.

Will base schedule on student’s availability. Must have someavailability to work during the following hours:

Monday: 9am-9pm
Tuesday: 9am-9pm
Wednesdsay: 9am-9pm
Thursday: 9am-9pm
Friday: 9am-9pm
