The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking a Student Aide to support Harper College students in the GRA labs. The role will align with student schedules and requires reliable communication and basic technical skills.

To apply for this position, you must be a current GRA HarperCollege student, enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester; 3 forsummer semester.
Student Aide must have basic knowledge of Adobe applications andhave taken at least the GRA 101 course to be eligible. Loginprocedures and basic application processes and file managementprocedures a must. The student must be able to communicate andsubmit written occurrence of breakdown, user account issues and anyother lab procedural communications.
Length of employment is determined each semester bydepartment.
Evaluations may be done by the supervisor each semester or at aminimum of once a year.
Employment is contingent on a Criminal Background Check in certaindepartments.
Employment Sponsorship is not applicable.
Will base schedule on student’s availability. Must have someavailability to work during the following hours:
Monday: 9am-9pm
Tuesday: 9am-9pm
Wednesdsay: 9am-9pm
Thursday: 9am-9pm
Friday: 9am-9pm

Assist Coordinator, Instructors, Lab Tech, and Students withrequests for lab needs.
Assist students working within the GRA labs.
Monitor all students in the facility for safety compliance andunderstands all lab procedures and guards against breakdown andtheft.
Identify occurrence of breakdown and software, hardwareneeds.
