Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Three years related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to establish cooperative relationships with students, faculty and staff.
• Team-oriented with a student-centered focus on retention.

Responsibilities

• Partner with retention colleagues to serve ARP probation and CARE Connection students.
• Provide case management and referrals to programs, resources and services.
• Establish a supportive environment for participation, information sharing and mentoring.
• Support at-risk student populations with instructional and student development units.
• Develop, coordinate and implement timelines and activities for student success.
• Identify target populations and collaborate with college departments.
• Evaluate new approaches to intervention strategies at pivotal points.
• Participate in college-wide activities promoting student success.
• Analyze student information to assess interests, abilities and barriers.
• Educate students about available services such as financial aid, counseling and tutoring.
• Coordinate referrals to college and community services as needed.
• Utilize Civitas/Maxient to document ARP contacts and interventions.
