Job summary

Wake Tech in Raleigh seeks an Assistant Director for Student Activities to support planning, implementation, and evaluation of co-curricular programs. The role guides events, funding initiatives, and operations to ensure compliance with State and College guidelines.

The position coordinates campus events, advises Student Government, manages contracts and budgets, and trains staff on policies and procedures. Travel across Wake Tech campuses is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Two years of related experience in student activities or co-curricular programming.
• Valid Driver's license and approval by the college liability insurer.
• Ability to travel between Wake Tech campuses to coordinate events.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with college leadership to develop programming aligned with goals.
• Directs and supports event operations for Student Activities and coordinates logistics.
• Lead for signature Student Activities events and coordinate campus, off-campus and virtual events.
• Serves as co-advisor of the Student Government Association.
• Ensures event contracts meet state and college requirements and provides policy training.
• Assist in managing the Student Activities programming budget.
• Manage the Student Activities Collaboration Funding program and review applications.
• Train staff and faculty who advise clubs on college policies and procedures.
