Responsibilities

• Assists the AVP in initiating, planning, developing, and facilitating events and activities that enhance student life.
• Leads the College's Orientation program, including development, coordination, and execution of in-person and virtual Orientation experiences.
• Provides direct support to student clubs, organizations, and student activities.
• Maintains a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Provides leadership, guidance, and support to advisors of student organizations.
• Communicates effectively with students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders regarding programs and events.
• Serves on Student Affairs and College committees as assigned or requested.
• Organizes, coordinates and leads campus events such as Welcome Week, Town & Gown, Club Rush, Greek Recruitment Week, Leadership Reception, Family Day, and Homecoming.
• Serves as a liaison to Campus Activities Board, Greek Council, Stallion Society Orientation Team, and Student Government Association.
• Ensures compliance with College policies through fiscal stewardship and program administration.
• Maintains records and uses data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Supports the student food pantry and GOHS-related initiatives.
• Implements processes for posting and distributing materials on campus.
• Develops annual training for student clubs and advisors.
• Coordinates and disseminates the biweekly student newsletter.
• Oversees RecRe and a welcoming student life environment within the Student Center.
• Collaborates with Residence Life on student conduct and organizational accountability.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
