Job summary

Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College seeks an Athletic Trainer to work under the Head Athletic Trainer and Athletic Director in Tifton, GA. You will provide medical care for all student‑athletes, including rehabilitation, emergency response, injury prevention, and referrals as needed.

You will assist with medical coverage for home events, coordinate exams with the ABAC Health Center and area providers, and help manage budgets and supplies. Compliance with USG policies is required.

Qualifications

• CAATE-accredited degree required (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Current BOC certification and Georgia State Licensure required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical services and care for ABAC student athletes.
• Perform rehabilitation and therapeutic exercise as prescribed.
• Deliver emergency care, injury prevention, and injury evaluation.
• Refer athletes to appropriate providers when needed.
• Ensure medical coverage for home athletic events with Head AT and staff.
• Assist with budget, inventory, and ordering of medical supplies.
• Collaborate with ABAC Health Center and local providers.
• Organize Pre-Participation Physical Exams with Head AT and Health Center.
