The University of Washington HUB seeks a Student Activities Advisor to support and advise student organizations, leaders, and events. You will guide budgeting, procurement, compliance, and alignment with university policies, while developing trainings and materials for RSOs.

The role emphasizes advising across programs, reporting on engagement, and coordinating with campus stakeholders. A strong background in higher education activities and campus management software is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in education, communications, social sciences, or related field.
• 1 year of experience advising student activities in a higher education setting.
• Familiarity with University of Washington and its structure and systems.
• Familiarity with Campus Groups student organization management software.

Responsabilidades

• Advise students and student organizations on planning, managing, and assessing programs, events, services, and initiatives.
• Provide guidance on budgeting, financial stewardship, and use of allocated resources.
• Interpret and proactively explain institutional policies, procedures, and regulations to students and student organizations to support compliance and informed decision-making.
• Communicate policies, procedures, service options, and expectations clearly, respectfully, and consistently.
• Support student learning and leadership development through coaching, education, and referrals.
• Serve as a liaison between student organizations and institutional stakeholders; advocate for student needs as appropriate.
