Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60 college credits.
• At least 1 year of finance-related office experience and 3+ months of bookkeeping or cashiering experience.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical comfort.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Are you detail-oriented, great with numbers, and passionate about helping others? Nova Southwestern University (NSU) is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Student Accounts Representative to join our team!

In this role, you'll help students and families navigate their financial accounts, understand payment options, and resolve billing questions while contributing to a positive student experience.

What You'll Do

• Assist students and families with account balances, billing questions, and payment options.
• Review and reconcile student accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Process payments, invoices, refunds, and account adjustments.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and provide exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with university departments to support student financial needs.

What We're Looking For

• Associate's degree or 60 college credits.
• One year of finance-related office experience and at least three months of bookkeeping or cashiering experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and comfort working with numbers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Bonus: Experience in higher education, student accounting, or Banner systems is a plus!
