Spicer Group is seeking a Structures Practice Lead to direct vertical structure projects and mentor technical staff. This role drives quality, schedule adherence, and budget compliance while shaping the Growth of the Development & Buildings service area.

You will lead client engagement, contribute to proposals and contracts, and oversee marketing initiatives to showcase the practice’s expertise across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and PE license preferred.
• 10+ years of vertical structures experience in steel/concrete.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency with BIM tools and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of vertical structure projects, ensuring quality, deadlines, and budgets.
• Lead structures practice utilization, financial performance, and risk management.
• Contribute to proposals, contracts, invoicing, and client development.
• Mentor staff and foster client relationships to market the practice.
