Spicer Group is seeking a Structures Practice Lead to oversee vertical structure projects—from design through delivery—within the Development & Buildings group. You’ll manage budgets, schedules, and staffing while mentoring technical staff and building client relationships.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, marketing collaboration, and cross-functional teamwork with leadership to grow the practice and ensure high-quality service delivery across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience within vertical structures industry, including steel/concrete.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; preferred.
• Proficiency with BIM software like Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; 3D/FEA modeling experience.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu, SharePoint, MS Project or other PMIS.

Responsibilities

• Oversees project deliverables within the Structures Practice of Development & Buildings service area, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to deadlines and budgets.
• Management of overall utilization and realization of Structures practice.
• Supports and contributes to structures practice area financial performance.
• Supports quality management strategy; identifies and mitigates risk.
• Prepares and assists with invoicing and collection of A/R for technical service area clients.
• Serves as Project Manager or subject matter expert on multiple projects within the structures practice area.
