Job summary

Zachry Construction Corporation is seeking a Structures Foreman to lead crews building cast-in-place and prefabricated concrete structures on heavy civil projects. You will drive production, manage materials, and control costs while keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in heavy civil construction with concrete expertise, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in heavy civil construction with focus on concrete structures.
• Proven supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of concrete types, rebar, forming systems, finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with crane and rigging principles, concrete testing, and pour rate management.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated, task-oriented leader.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions up to 90% of the time.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on uneven terrain.
• Experience with Mobile Timecard or similar systems preferred.
• Must be licensed to operate a company vehicle.
• Able to climb ladders and walk on uneven surfaces at construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct crew activities to achieve production goals while maintaining safety and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, project specs, and cost reports to track progress.
• Supervise construction of foundations, columns, caps, decks, and flatwork.
• Direct forming, pouring, and finishing using EFCO, Doka, and wood forms.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and personnel to execute work plans.
• Train and mentor crew in safe practices and proper equipment use.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and promote safety culture.
