Job summary

Zachry Construction Corporation is seeking a Structures Foreman to lead a crew building cast-in-place and prefab concrete structures on heavy civil projects. You’ll ensure safety, quality, and production targets while coordinating field activities.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, supervising forming, pouring, finishing, and mentoring crew members, with strong leadership and organizational skills required for outdoor work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in heavy civil construction focusing on concrete structures
• Supervisory experience required
• Strong knowledge of concrete types, rebar, forming systems, and finishing techniques
• Familiarity with crane and rigging principles, concrete testing, and pour rate management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather up to 90% of the time
• Licensed to operate a company vehicle and able to climb ladders/scaffolding

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct crew activities to achieve production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency
• Read and interpret blueprints, project specs, and cost reports
• Supervise construction of foundations, columns, caps, decks, and flatwork
• Direct forming, pouring, and finishing using EFCO, Doka, and wood forms
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and personnel
• Train and mentor crew members in safe work practices and techniques
• Maintain daily reports, timekeeping, and equipment logs
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and conduct toolbox talks
