RTX's Pratt & Whitney division in East Hartford, CT is seeking a Structures Engineer I to join the Engineering Development Program. This multiyear rotation program accelerates technical capability through diverse assignments in MSEN.

You will perform structural analyses across the product development cycle, balance design constraints, support tests and field investigations, and use FEA tools like ANSYS to evaluate strength and fatigue, contributing to safer, more capable aerospace systems.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or STEM obtained by start date.
• Previous engineering internship experience
• Minimum Cumulative 3.0 GPA

Mansioni

• Perform structural analysis across product development stages (concept to post-certification).
• Provide design recommendations balancing structural, performance, weight, and producibility.
• Support rig/engine tests and monitor instrumentation to extract key learnings.
• Use finite element analysis to evaluate strength, stiffness, deflection, vibration, fatigue life.
• Document results and present conclusions to management and customers.
