Job summary

Upstart is seeking a Capital Markets Manager, Structured Products, to lead securitization and asset-backed financing transactions within its AI-driven lending marketplace.

You will partner with investors, banks, and legal counsel to structure, negotiate, and execute financing strategies while mentoring the team and aligning with cross-functional partners across Legal, Accounting, and Data Analytics.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Capital Markets, Structured Finance, or Investment Banking.
• Experience structuring warehouse facilities, securitizations, asset-backed financings.
• Experience building financial models and analyzing cash flows.
• Experience negotiating financing transactions with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive securitization issuances, warehouse facilities, and asset-backed financings.
• Build strategic relationships with lenders, investors, and capital markets participants.
• Partner with Legal to review and finalize financing agreements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Accounting, Data Analytics, Finance, and Operations to structure transactions.
• Present updates and market insights to senior leadership.
• Coach junior team members and contribute to team growth.
