Job summary

GoodLeap, a technology company delivering financing and software for sustainable home solutions, seeks a Paralegal to support its Capital Markets Legal team. You will assist attorneys with structured finance transactions and ensure proper documentation and filing.

This role requires a highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and collaborates with Finance, Treasury, Operations, and Compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years paralegal experience in a medium to large law firm or 4+ years in-house with corporate focus (capital markets, structured finance, or financial services preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transaction Support – assist attorneys in preparation, review, and organization of documentation for structured finance transactions (securitizations, warehouse facilities, forward flows).
• Corporate Formation Governance – draft resolutions, certificates, and governance documents for GoodLeap entities and ensure ongoing contractual/regulatory compliance.
• Maintain Document Trackers – develop, update trackers for terms, reporting obligations, covenants, and related requirements across deals.
• Process Improvement – identify opportunities to streamline processes and implement tools within the Capital Markets Legal function.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – partner with Finance, Treasury, Operations, and Compliance to provide timely legal support.
