Job summary

Upstart is hiring a Capital Markets Manager to shape funding strategy and manage investor relationships for our AI lending marketplace. You will drive structuring, term negotiation, and deal execution across a fast-paced team.

The role requires extensive experience in capital markets, structured finance, and related fintech roles, with a collaborative, cross-functional approach to scale our funding capabilities.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in Capital Markets, Structured Finance/Products, investment banking, or related fintech roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end investor relationships: structuring, term negotiation, deal execution
• Drive clarity in ambiguous environments and manage competing priorities with high quality execution, across multiple stakeholders (legal, operations, analytics, accounting)
• Contribute to building a scalable, resilient capital markets infrastructure as we grow
• Provide cross functional teams and senior leaders with a clear, well-calibrated view of investor sentiment, market appetite, and emerging funding opportunities
• Coach and mentor other team members regardless of title/level – you clearly bring something unique to the table!
