AmLaw 50 Firm in New York seeks a Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join its growing structured finance group. The role focuses on sophisticated financing transactions and cross-border deals in a dynamic, high-performing office.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of experience, NY Bar, and a JD from a top-tier law school, with strong drafting and negotiation skills to manage multiple deals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active New York Bar admission.
• 3-5 years of substantive experience representing investment banks and/or asset managers in structuring and documenting CLO transactions.
• Experience with acquisition financings, cross-border financings, and syndicated credit facilities.
• Prior large law firm experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders in a broad range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings and syndicated credit facilities.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and related transactional materials.
• Coordinate and conduct due diligence, and oversee all aspects of deal execution.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and implement deal strategies.
• Work closely with cross-office teams on multi-jurisdictional matters.
