Our client, a prominent AmLaw 50 firm, seeks a Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join its structured finance practice in New York. The candidate will represent lenders on sophisticated transactions and manage complex deal execution in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a JD from a top-tier law school, New York Bar admission, and 3–5 years of relevant experience in acquisition, cross-border financings, and syndicated facilities, with large firm background preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York.
• 3–5 years of substantive experience representing investment banks and/or asset managers in structuring and documenting collateralized loan obligation transactions.
• Experience with acquisition financings, cross-border financings, and syndicated credit facilities.
• Prior experience at a large law firm is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders in a broad range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings and syndicated credit facilities.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and related transactional materials.
• Coordinate and conduct due diligence, and oversee all aspects of deal execution.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and implement deal strategies.
• Work closely with cross-office teams on multi-jurisdictional matters.
