Job summary

Nearwater Capital is seeking an Analyst to support deal execution across ABS, CLO, CMBS, and RMBS transactions within the Risk Retention Financing Origination team.

You will work with originators on financial modeling, market analysis, and documentation for live deals, building the foundation for a career in structured finance.

This role offers hands-on exposure to live transactions, mentorship from senior team members, and growth on a close-knit desk in New York.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience or strong internship in structured finance or securitized products.
• Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• Excellent attention to detail and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Origination team in executing financing transactions by reviewing deal offering documents and legal documentation, and coordinating operational settlement.
• Build cash flow models of financing terms and structure for client review.
• Prepare marketing materials and presentations for client meetings with global investment and PE firms, managers, and sponsors.
• Research prospective clients and maintain an up-to-date pipeline database.
• Monitor upcoming securitization market activity and relevant market trends.
• Participate in client dialogue to support the origination and client coverage process
