Fitch Ratings, located in Chicago, is seeking an Analyst to join its Structured Credit Alternative Products team. You will analyze credit, legal, and structural elements of transaction proposals and support rating actions in a highly dynamic market.

The role requires a quantitative degree (finance/economics) and at least 1 year in financial analysis, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Hybrid work options and extensive professional growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as finance, accounting, or economics.
• Strong analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; programming knowledge is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze critical credit, legal, and structural elements of transaction proposals.
• Act as primary or secondary analyst for transaction ratings and defend credit views in discussions with issuers and investors.
• Contribute to the development of rating criteria and improve existing frameworks.
• Lead and/or support sector trend research reports and projects.
