Fitch Ratings seeks an Analyst to join the Structured Credit Alternative Products group in our Austin office. You will focus on new transaction proposals with securitization principals, CLO lite structures, and other private credit transactions backed by debt.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in finance, accounting, or economics and at least 1 year in the financial industry. Strong analytical skills and MS Office proficiency are essential; programming knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in the financial industry, preferably related to Structured Credit or Corporate Direct Lending.
• Strong analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite; programming languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze critical credit, legal, and structural elements of transaction proposals.
• Act as primary or secondary analyst for transaction ratings in a dynamic sector, presenting to rating committees.
• Contribute to development of rating criteria and strengthen existing frameworks.
• Lead or support sector trend research reports and projects.
