Fitch Ratings is seeking an Analyst to join its Structured Credit Alternative Products group in Austin. You will focus on new transaction proposals with securitization and private credit structures, contributing to ratings, research, and market insights.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, collaboration across teams, and opportunities for professional growth within a global rating agency. A Hybrid work environment is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as finance, accounting, or economics.
• At least 1 year of experience in the financial industry, preferably related to Structured Credit or Structured Finance.
• Strong analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail.
• High level of personal responsibility, initiative, and self-management.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of programming languages is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze critical credit, legal, and structural elements of transaction proposals.
• Act as primary or secondary analyst for transaction ratings and defend credit views in discussions with issuers and investors.
• Contribute to the development of rating criteria and improve existing frameworks.
• Lead and/or support sector trend research reports and projects.
