Fitch Ratings is seeking an Analyst to join its Structured Credit Alternative Products group in our New York office. You will analyze transaction proposals and support rating actions while collaborating with issuers and investors in a highly dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as finance, accounting, or economics.
• At least 1 year of experience in the financial industry, preferably in Structured Credit or related areas.
• Strong analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail.
• High level of personal responsibility, initiative, and self-management.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite; programming knowledge is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze critical credit, legal, and structural elements of transaction proposals.
• Lead or support ratings analyses and defend views in issuer discussions.
• Contribute to development of rating criteria and frameworks.
• Lead or support sector trend research reports and projects.
