Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to support technology infrastructure projects across the Charleston area. You will install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot CAT5/CAT6 cabling as part of a large‑scale modernization initiative.

The role requires experience with structured cabling, CAT5/CAT6 termination, and familiarity with punch-down tools and cable testing equipment. Expect local travel between sites and onsite work in Charleston, SC.

Our client is seeking a Structured Cabling Technician to support ongoing technology infrastructure projects across multiple sites in the Charleston area. This role involves installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting CAT5/CAT6 cabling as part of a large-scale modernization effort.

• Work in network closets and follow site drawings/documentation
• Complete service tickets and project-related tasks

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
