The candidate must have Title I campus qualifications (48 college hours or ParaPro score 464) or Non-Title I requirements (15 hours or diploma with 464). A Texas Educational Aide II certificate is required upon employment.

Qualificações

• Requires 48 college hours for Title I campus or a 464 ParaPro score.
• Requires 15 college hours or a high school diploma/GED with 464 ParaPro score for Non-Title I campus.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide II certificate required upon employment.
• Ability to work with children with disabilities and follow instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to policies for special education aides.
• Maintains student records and data collection.
• Assist in instructional activities and materials preparation.
• Support teachers with planned activities and drills.
• Assist with self-care activities and positioning of students.
• Provide personal care as identified in IEPs.
• Attend professional meetings and orient substitutes.
