Course Information

Course: Structure and Property of Materials Lab
When: Fall 2026 Semester (09/08/2026 - 12/13/2026)
Location: In‑person and on‑campus at GCU Traditional Campus – Phoenix, AZ

This is the lab section of MEE‑340. The course reinforces theoretical concepts covered in lecture and with hands‑on activities. Students conduct lab experiments to better understand how certain properties of materials manifest themselves.

What You Will Do
  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions.
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics.
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom.
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University.
What You Will Bring
  • Minimum: Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related engineering discipline with experience in mechanical properties of materials.
  • Preferred: Doctorate in any of the above disciplines.
