Anchor Custom Fabrications in Smithville, TN is seeking a skilled Structural Welder to fabricate and assemble metal structures in a hands-on role.

You will read blueprints, set up MIG/TIG welds, inspect welds, maintain safety, and work with a small team to hit project deadlines.

A high school diploma and welding experience are required; certification is a plus, and lifting up to 50 pounds is expected.

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification in welding preferred.
Proven experience as a structural welder with a strong portfolio of projects.
Proficient in various welding techniques and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to lift heavy materials (max 50 pounds) and work in varying physical conditions.
Valid welding certification is a plus.
Proficient in Tape Measure Reading; Welding Setups for Production; Blueprint Reading.

Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and welding requirements.
Perform welding operations on steel and aluminum using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
Inspect welds for quality and adherence to specifications; make adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure tools/equipment are in good condition.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Participate in training to enhance welding skills and knowledge.
