TATEFAB in White House, TN is seeking a skilled Structural Steel Fitter & Welder to join a team delivering high‑precision fabrication and welding on major projects.

You will read blueprints, fit and weld steel members to exacting specs, and collaborate with CNC systems. AWS D1.1 certification (or ability to certify) and 3+ years of hands‑on experience are required. This is an on‑site, safety‑minded role with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Certification (or ability to certify).
• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on structural steel fabrication and welding experience.
• Proven ability to weld in multiple positions with consistent quality.
• OSHA-10 Certification (or willingness to complete).

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex blueprints, weld symbols, and layout drawings.
• Fit, tack, and weld steel members with accuracy and speed.
• Perform FCAW/Flux Core welds in all positions, with shop welds primarily flat.
• Ensure welds meet AWS standards for quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with CNC systems to maximize precision and throughput.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
