Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking experienced Structural Welders for a per diem-based role in McGregor, Texas. Responsibilities include welding structural steel components, reading blueprints and weld symbols, and performing layout and fabrication work to meet quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have MIG/FCAW and SMAW experience, ability to pass a weld test, and a strong safety record. OSHA 10 certification is a plus; per diem is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience welding structural steel components.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience with MIG/FCAW and SMAW processes.
• Ability to pass a weld test.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel components using MIG/FCAW and/or SMAW.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, weld symbols.
• Fit, tack, and weld beams, columns, plates, braces.
• Perform layout, measurement, and fabrication work as needed.
• Use grinders, cutting torches, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment.
• Inspect welds for quality and repairs.
• Maintain proper weld sizes, alignment, and dimensional accuracy.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
