Spitzer Industries is seeking a Structural Welder to join our team in Houston, TX. This full-time, on-site role requires MIG and FCAW welding on structural steel, with the ability to read blueprints and follow welding procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or trade school.
• 2–4 years welding fabrication experience on structural steel with tested welds.
• Able to read and follow welding procedures.
• Must pass 3G weld test.
• Familiarity with AWS welding codes & standards.
• Proficient with grinders, torches and basic fabrication tools.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Read blueprints, drawings and welding symbols.
• Set up and operate welding equipment including wire feeders.
• Inspect welds for quality and conformance to specs.
