Energy Jobline ZR is seeking experienced Structural Welders for a per diem-based role in McGregor, Texas. Responsibilities include welding structural steel components, reading blueprints and weld symbols, and performing layout and fabrication work to meet quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have MIG/FCAW and SMAW experience, ability to pass a weld test, and a strong safety record. OSHA 10 certification is a plus; per diem is provided.

We are seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience welding and assembling structural steel components while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel components using MIG/FCAW and/or SMAW (stick) processes
• Read and interpret structural drawings, weld symbols, and blueprints
• Fit, tack, and weld beams, columns, plates, braces, and other structural components
• Perform layout, measurement, and fabrication work as needed
• Use grinders, cutting torches, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment
• Inspect welds for quality and make necessary repairs
• Maintain proper weld sizes, alignment, and dimensional accuracy
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous structural steel welding experience
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols
• Proficiency with common welding and fabrication tools
• Ability to perform quality welds in various positions
• Experience with structural steel fabrication or erection
• Welding certifications are a plus
• Ability to pass a weld test
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus
• Strong attendance and dependable work history
