Job summary

Spitzer in Houston is seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our team. You will perform 3G MIG and FCAW welding on steel structures, read blueprints, and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Two to four years welding fabrication experience, ability to pass 3G tests, and the ability to lift 50 lbs are required; we offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or trade schooling required.
• 2–4 years welding fabrication of structural steel experience.
• Must be able to read and follow welding procedures.
• Must pass 3G weld test with MIG and FCAW-G (1/16 wire).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3G structural welds using MIG and FCAW on steel structures.
• Setup and operate welding equipment including wire feeders.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and conformance to specs.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols; follow safety procedures.
• Work with others to determine best fabrication solutions.
