Job summary

Industrial Trade Services is seeking experienced Structural Welders in Texas to join our team. The ideal candidate will weld and assemble structural steel components with a strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities include welding with MIG/FCAW or SMAW, reading drawings and weld symbols, fitting and welding structural members, and inspecting welds for quality while maintaining a clean, safe work area. OSHA 10 certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with structural steel welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Proficiency with common welding and fabrication tools.
• Ability to perform quality welds in various positions.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel components using MIG/FCAW and/or SMAW (stick).
• Read and interpret structural drawings, weld symbols, and blueprints.
• Fit, tack, and weld beams, columns, plates, braces, and other components.
• Perform layout, measurement, and fabrication work as needed.
• Use grinders, cutting torches, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment.
• Inspect welds for quality and make repairs.
