ResourceMFG Amarillo seeks an experienced welder to read blueprints, prepare materials, and perform welding using MIG, TIG, or Stick processes. You will align and fixture parts, ensure precise geometry, and maintain equipment in a fast-paced shop environment.

Applicants must have 1+ year in metal fabrication or welding, read weld symbols, and be familiar with grinders, plasma cutters, band saws, and overhead cranes. Must own hood and gloves and comply with safety standards.

Competenze

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or shop welding environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical schematics.
• Familiarity with shop tools such as grinders, band saws, drill presses, plasma cutters, and overhead cranes.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine dimensions, materials, and welding sequences.
• Material preparation: measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape raw metals using saws, torches, plasma cutters, and grinders.
• Fit-up and assembly: align, clamp, tack-weld, and fixture metal parts to ensure accurate geometry before final welding.
• Welding operations: perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required by shop needs.
