Job summary

Steele Solutions Inc. is seeking a Welder to join our fabrication team in Wisconsin. Under the direction of the Fabrication Supervisor, you will weld components and assemble structural forms according to blueprints, ensuring quality and timely delivery while upholding safety and company values.

You will analyze drawings, lay out parts, select tooling, interpret weld symbols, and operate welding equipment. Strong safety aptitude and teamwork are essential, with at least 2 years of welding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or extensive welding experience.
• Welding certification desired.
• 2+ years of related welding experience with .045 wire welding.

Responsibilities

• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders to plan welding operations.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts before assembly using straightedges and rulers.
• Select proper tooling and fixturing for job; plan sequence of steps to perform duties.
• Interpret weld symbols and ensure welds meet specifications.
• Assemble metal parts and products; prepare surfaces for welding.
• Operate welding, soldering or brazing equipment and move equipment as needed.
• Inspect and measure finished pieces for defects and conformance to specs.
• Complete paperwork per procedure and ensure timely job completion.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations.
