Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Welding certification preferred (AWS a plus).
• Welder II requires minimum 3 years welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience with .045 welding wire is required.
• Experience welding structural steel and heavy-gauge materials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols to determine fabrication requirements.
• Plan and execute welding and assembly with limited supervision.
• Lay out and fit components using measuring and fixturing equipment.
• Perform MIG welding using .045 wire.
• Inspect welds for quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Assist in training Welder I employees and support Lean initiatives.
• Complete production documentation and maintain safety.
