Job summary

Southwest - Carlton Staffing seeks a dependable Structural Welder for the East Houston area. You will perform Flux Core welding on large structural components in a heavy industrial shop, following drawings and welding symbols.

Overtime and occasional Saturday work may be required based on production needs. Requirements include at least 6 months of FCAW experience in structural welding and comfort working in a heavy fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of hands-on Flux Core (FCAW) structural welding experience.
• Experience welding structural steel, heavy fabrication, or similar large components.
• Role is not pipe or small-parts welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform Flux Core (FCAW) welding on structural steel components and fabricated assemblies in an industrial shop.
• Read fabrication drawings and welding symbols to properly position and weld components; inspect welds for quality and safety.
