Job summary

A leading steel fabrication company in Athens, GA is seeking full-time experienced Flux Core Structural Welders. The role involves operating welding machines, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining equipment. Preferred candidates will have 3-5 years of experience with flux core welding, and the ability to pass AWS welding tests. This position offers a starting pay of $20/hour and a range of employee benefits including health insurance and a 401k match.

Qualifications

• Experience with stainless steel and aluminum is a plus.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a 3G weld test on 1" carbon plate.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety procedures while welding.
• Operate a welding machine to join metal parts together.
• Visually inspect welds for defects and maintain equipment.
