Schuff Steel is seeking a Production Welder to contribute to complex fabrication for commercial building, bridge and industrial projects. You will weld a variety of materials using FCAW, SMAW, GMAW and SAW and perform in all positions with high proficiency.

Responsibilities include following AWS/AISC welding procedures, preparing and finishing welds, and passing AWS D1.1 tests. You will operate a crane to move material and maintain a clean, safe work area on-site.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus 12 months of stable work experience.
• Must pass required weld test.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Experience following AWS/AISC welding procedures.

Responsabilités

• Follow welding procedures (AWS, AISC).
• Weld in ground, above ground and below ground in required positions.
• Prepare material by chipping, peening and grinding.
• Weld structural, bridge and industrial materials.
• Possess ability to pass welding tests per AWS D1.1.
• Operate crane to transport materials and keep area clean.
