Job summary

Matrix Service Company is seeking a skilled welder in Clarksville, AR to perform welding and grinding per job specifications, select equipment, and plan layout and assembly. You will work closely with supervision and maintain strict accuracy and safety standards on site.

The role requires passing specified SMAW weld tests (E6010, E7018) and meeting safety training and TWIC card requirements. Overtime travel and site duties are common, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must pass specified weld tests in a fabrication environment.
• Active drug testing program and background screening required.
• Basic Safety Council courses and site training required.
• TWIC card required and fire retardant clothing may be needed.
• Willingness to travel/relocate and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Weld and grind per job specifications with precise accuracy.
• Select equipment and plan layout/assembly of welding.
• Coordinate with Field Foreman on jobsite issues.
• Maintain safety policies and minimize hazards.
• Perform post-weld cleanup, inspection and repair.
