Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years or more in refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience.
• Must be able to pass Weld Test and have practical welding skill.
• Must obtain and maintain active status in required drug testing program.
• Must pass background check.
• Complete Matrix Service Safety training and Process Safety Management training.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on pipe and structural components per jobsite specifications.
• Operate and select equipment; plan layout and assembly of welding.
• Weld with SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, MIG, TIG, and other processes; follow NDE requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company ethics; report hazards.
• Perform grinding, fit-up, and other duties as required by supervision.
