Job summary

Tate is seeking a Welder to join our 2nd shift team in Kentucky. You will perform measurements, cutting, and assembly of metal products, interpret blueprints, and ensure weld strength throughout production. Cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and management is required.

Candidates should have 2+ years in structural welding, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. AWS certification is preferred and codified safety practices apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in structural welding.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be detail oriented, efficient, and able to work under minimal supervision.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions when furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Select metals to specifications and measure, cut, and join components.
• Prepare metals and surfaces for safe assembly.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.
• Inspect welding equipment and tools for proper function.
