Responsibilities include evaluating design criteria, preparing reports, performing hand calculations and CAD drawings, and supporting construction with site visits. Travel up to 20% and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering.
• FE exam taken; licensure as PE a plus.
• 0–5+ years of structural design experience.
• Familiarity with design codes and standards.
• Experience with structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Establish project design criteria per codes and jurisdiction.
• Review and organize historical project information.
• Prepare design documentation reports and memos.
• Perform structural computations and analysis.
• Develop project details and drawings by hand or CAD.
• Edit specifications and assist with the Project Manual.
• Support construction with submittals, site visits, and conformance.
