Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Structural Staff Engineer (EIT) to join our team in Denver, Colorado.

The role covers structural design and development for dams, bridges, water resources projects, and related facilities, with hands-on analysis, drafting, and documentation under a licensed engineer. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering, have passed the FE exam, with PE licensure pursued, and bring 0–5+ years of relevant design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• FE exam taken and licensure pursued (PE a plus).
• 0–5+ years of structural design experience; water resources experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish project design criteria per codes and jurisdictional requirements.
• Review historical project information and prepare design documentation reports.
• Perform structural computations using hand methods and design software.
• Develop project details and drawings by hand or CAD; edit specifications and assist with Project Manual.
• Support construction phase services including submittals and site inspections.
